about us

Hudson-Smith Marketing & Design was formed in January of 2007. After spending years building up companies on the internet from the consumer side of the development, we formed Hudson-Smith to bring our expertise in web design and construction, advertising, graphic design, printing, sales, server side databases, management, and finance to other companies finding their way into the internet.

Bryan Smith

Bryan Smith graduated from the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville, FL in 2005. While there he spent time as the president of the Sport Roller Hockey Club. He also interned with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League in their sales department. After graduation, with a degree in sport management, Bryan went to work for JEM Communications, Inc. in Nashville, TN.

With JEM Communications, Mr. Smith gained experience with dynamic web design, using such languages as ColdFusion, PHP, and JavaScript. He was also responsible for the show guide for Satellite Expo 2006, and oversaw the production of the 2007 guide as well.

Mr. Smith is curently the editor of Transmitter News, the Satellite Industry's News Source. This is a web-based newletter that circulates to over four thousand people daily.

Lee Gilliland

While pursuing a degree in Advertising at the University of Memphis, Lee spent time in sales for Minuteman Press in the printing industry. There he moved into graphic design and bindery. After leaving school, Lee spent time in sales in various industries.

In 2004, Lee started working for JEM Communications, Inc, out of Nashville Tennessee as the event director. Building the Satellite and Broadband Expo from the ground up, Lee gained his experience in internet marketing.

At JEM communications, Lee built and maintained all of the websites for Satellite and Broadband expo as well as assisting with Transmitter News. Lee also designed all of the marketing and advertising campaigns for JEM Communications, Inc.
